Walkins is an initiative of Lomoso Solutions Private Limited, having its registered address at H-609, Titanium City Centre 100 ft Road, Satellite, Ahmedabad – 380015, Gujarat (India).
Walkins is an user-friendly technology solution, which helps retail stores, exhibitors at events and local businesses to connect with their customers and store walk-ins and thereby allow them to do instant yet meaning full communication and overall engagement of their customers without any extra efforts.
This policy ("Policy") describes how Walkins handles the information and data you provide to us, how Walkins collects, uses and / or shares the same. Walkins shall make every endeavour to protect your information as per practices consistent with applicable law.
The data that you upload on Walkins is private and visible to you only. Walkins does not allow any other user to view such data.
Your use of Walkins and services offered by Walkins will involve you in uploading and / or inputting various contents into Walkins which may largely include but not limited to : your phone book, your store details, your email address, list of your customers, feedbacks, details of your business, promotional schemes / discount offered by you, images, personal details of your customers such as their telephone numbers, birth dates / dates of their marriage anniversary, email address, their preferences / likings and any other details of yours or your customers you may have and you wish to upload for the purpose of using the services of Walkins, etc. (the "Content"). Walkins assumes that all the Content uploaded / inputted by you onto Walkins shall be legally obtained and that you have all the rights to upload / input the same onto Walkins. Walkins shall not be responsible for any claims of whatsoever nature in relation to the uploading / inputting the Content and using the same as per the terms of the Policy and / or as per the standard terms and conditions for use of Walkins (“Terms for Use”).
Walkins shall use the Content for the following purpose :
In addition to the above, it is possible that Walkins may need to disclose the Content and / or information about your activities as an user when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, whether in the Indian or other jurisdictions, or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies; (2) enforce the terms and conditions of the Terms of Use (or any other agreements entered into by you with Walkins), investigate and defend Walkins against any third-party claims or allegations, or protect the security or integrity of Walkins’ services; and / or (3) exercise or protect the rights, property, or safety of Walkins, its members, users, personnel, or others. Walkins may attempt to notify you about legal demands for their personal information when appropriate in Walkins’ judgment, unless prohibited by law or court order or when the request is an emergency. In light of Walkins’ principles, Walkins may dispute such demands when Walkins believe, in Walkins’ discretion, that the requests are overboard, vague or lack proper authority, but do not commit to challenge every demand.
Walkins needs your permission to do things like hosting the Content, creating back-ups for it and sharing it when so required by you. Walkins’ services also provide you with features various features. These features may require Walkins’ systems to access, store and scan the Content. Where you give Walkins permission to do such actions, your permission is also deemed to be given to Walkins’ affiliates, if any, and trusted third parties Walkins engage with.
Walkins may also collect your personal information such as your name, your store's name, email address, your user name, password, at the time that you register for an account on the Service or thereafter. If you wish, you may also provide us with optional information such as a photograph, skills, addresses, educational background, analytics graphs, etc. of your store, business, etc. Your such details and any optional profile information that you may elect to associate with your account is referred to in this Policy as your "Profile Information." The Profile Information is or may be used internally to direct its efforts for product improvement or to send you notifcations for any offers as well service-related updates (including any notices required by law). Walkins may also use your email address to send you notifications and information about other products or services (including third party services) that Walkins think may be of interest to you ("Marketing Messages").
Contacts Permission : You can upload your contacts from mobile phone book or through web browser to Walkins. If you allow to upload contacts, they will be uploaded to secure cloud server of Walkins and it will be used by you for future communication over SMS / EMail with those customer. This information is also considered as part of "Profile Information". You may opt-out of receiving Marketing Messages at any time by following the instructions provided in the Marketing Message. Through your account interface, you may also opt-out of receiving categories of Service-related notices that are not deemed by Walkins to be integral to your use of the service.
For payments required to be made by you, Walkins utilizes a third party credit card payment processing company which collects payment information, including your credit card number, billing address and / or phone number. Walkins will share this payment information with the third party processing company. Walkins do not store your payment information.
Once the pack is activated, store/customer can raise the cancellation request within 24 hours through a registered email ID at info@trackwalkins.com. Failing the same, the store shall not be entitlement to a refund of pack price and related payments.
Refunds, if applicable, at the discretion of the Management, will only be made as per the sources of debit/credit card/net banking used for the original transaction. In case of other modes of payment, refund will process through strictly NEFT.
Walkins may use the services of certain trusted third party service providers for hosting the service or processing payments of paid members. Such service providers may have access to your information; however they can use your information only for the limited purpose of providing the service Walkins have contracted with them to provide. Walkins shall try to see to it that such service providers also have a data security and privacy policy that are at least as protective of your information as is in this Policy. Walkins may also store your Personal Information in locations outside the direct supervision of Walkins (for instance, on servers or databases co-located with hosting providers).
When you use the service, Walkins’ servers begin to automatically record certain information in their server logs. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (i.e. IP) address, browser type, referring / exit pages, your phone number, type of and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the Service, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, mobile carrier, date, time, and duration of your visit, information about the computer set-up such as the type and version of web browser, operating system, Java support, Flash version, screen resolution, and connection speed and other such information.
Your use of Walkins services may generate “cookies”. Walkins may use such "cookies" to collect information and observe and improve its services or to increase its functionality and user-friendliness. Walkins may use "persistent cookies" to save your session ID for future logins to the service such as for the purpose of remembering your user name when you return to the service as also to help Walkins to understand how you interact with / use the Walkins service, etc.
Walkins will retain the Content for as long as your account is active or as needed by us to provide you the services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that Walkins, you may delete your account. However, the Content stored in Walkins servers and back-ups may still continue to remain on server of Walkins.
If you use the Walkins using a mobile device, Walkins may collect the information contained in your device’s "device identifier" such as the type of device being used, the mobile network, operating system of your mobile, your mobile number, etc. These information may be used by Walkins for the purpose of customizing the services to suit your device for your ease and convenience.
Walkins may collect and process information about the location of the device from which you are using the service. Location information may help Walkins to understand how you access and / or use the service and may be used along with personally identifiable information. We may share these information as also the Personal Information to connect with you with a third party. We may disclose aggregated demographic information (such as aggregate and anonymous usage data, platform types, etc.) about the overall use of Walkins service publicly or with users, or other organizations with which we do, or contemplate doing, business to help them understand the service, or to help us improve and analyse the service.
If Walkins is involved in a merger, acquisition, and / or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any third party to which Walkins transfer or sell its assets shall be entitled to continue to use your Personal Information and other information collected by Walkins under this Policy.
This Policy may be changed by Walkins from time to time. If Walkins make a change to this Policy that Walkins believe adversely reduces your rights, Walkins will provide you with notice of such changes on your email. Walkins may provide notice of changes in other circumstances as well. By continuing to use the service after those changes have become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Policy.

Your Profile Information and Content are yours and Walkins do not own or use it, except for situations required for providing you with the services in an efficient manner and as is set out in this Policy. Where Walkins or it’s agents collect non-public personal information from you, reasonable steps will usually be taken to protect such information in transmission. However, there may be situations when such information cannot be completely protected. Please note that unless the connection is specifically indicated as being secure by Walkins or by Walkins’ agents, or you are otherwise informed of the security of your information, you should assume that the connection is not secure and that it is possible for outside parties to unauthorizedly intercept the information shared by you and Walkins during that part of the session.
